As nursing knowledge continues to rapidly expand, it is important to recognize individuals who incorporate research findings in their practice. The KNA Nursing Education Cabinet has designed an award to foster research. Please consider submitting papers for review.

CRITERIA

Submit a 1 or 2 page description of the project describing:

(1)  Target population (e.g. clinical group, staff, student) and setting.
(2)  Team members or disciplines involved.
(3)  Focus of the project
(4)  Results/recommendations.

PROCESS

(1)  Two copies of a paper describing research utilization in practice and an abstract of 250 words or less must be submitted to the KNA Nursing Education & Research Cabinet. Send submission to Education & Research Cabinet, 200 Whittington Parkway, Suite 101, Louisville, KY 402022-4900 and postmarked no later than May 1, 2010.
(2)  The abstract will be published in the Kentucky Nurse.
(3)  Please include the current curriculum vitae.
