Susan Jones, Past-President

During her tenure as KNA President, Susan Jones led the KNA through many positive changes as she and the Board of Directors worked to create a new and contemporary direction for the KNA and the nurses of Kentucky. Susan's term will end this coming October at the KNA Convention and she will hand the reigns over to Mattie Burton. Mattie has been serving on the Board of Directors for several years and she has been working with Susan to create a smooth transition and build an even bigger vision for the future of KNA.

The KNA staff works in Louisville at the KNA Headquarters and KNA Elected Leadership comes from across the state. We are all happy to serve and represent KNA members and registered nursing in Kentucky.

Nominate Yourself Or Someone Else For A KNA Leadership Position

All KNA members are encouraged to self-nominate or nominate another KNA member to run for a KNA leadership position when the ballot and new candidates are published in the KY NURSE in July. See the list of terms, open positions and the deadline for submissions on this page.

KNA welcomes and encourages members who have not been in leadership before to get involved and run for leadership in any area that interests you and to bring new perspective and ideas to the KNA.
